We’re so excited to have you celebrate with us in one of our favorite cities. While you’re here, take some time to explore Savannah’s beautiful squares, rich history, and Southern charm. Here are a few of our favorite local spots and must-dos!


🌳 Historic Squares & Strolls

Forsyth Park – Iconic fountain, shady walking paths, and beautiful oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Great spot for a morning coffee or afternoon picnic.

Savannah’s Squares – The city is built around 22 picturesque squares. Don’t miss Chippewa Square (from Forrest Gump), Monterey Square, and Lafayette Square.

River Street – Cobblestone streets, river views, local shops, and historic buildings. Grab a cocktail and stroll!


🍽️ Where to Eat & Drink

The Grey – Upscale Southern cuisine in a restored Greyhound bus terminal. A true Savannah gem (reservations recommended).

Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room – A family-style Southern meal experience like no other. Go early—it’s first-come, first-served!

Leopold’s Ice Cream – A classic since 1919. Long lines, but worth the wait!

Collins Quarter – Brunch favorite with a lovely outdoor seating area.

The Olde Pink House – Elegant Southern dining in a historic mansion (great for a rehearsal dinner or fancy night out).

Alley Cat Lounge – Hidden cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe.

Savannah Smiles Dueling Pianos – Fun, energetic night of live music and sing-alongs.

Rocks on the Roof – Rooftop bar at The Bohemian with river views and live music.

Paris Market – Beautiful home goods, gifts, and a charming café.

🚶‍♀️ Tips for Getting Around

Savannah is extremely walkable—bring comfy shoes!

The DOT Trolley is a free shuttle that runs through the historic district.

Many bars and restaurants offer to-go cups for walking around (just ask!).
